PREPARE YOUR VEHICLE

When you return your vehicle, its overall condition will be evaluated to determine if there is any excess (or chargeable) wear and use. Identifying excess wear and use before your vehicle return gives you time to process claims for damage covered under your insurance policy or to make any other needed repairs.

Step 1: Self-Assess Wear and Use

Before returning your vehicle, we recommend a complimentary inspection. Visit the Wear and Use page to help you assess the condition of your vehicle.

Step 2: Lease-End Inspection

Once you have completed the self-assessment using the Wear and Use guidelines, you can schedule a complimentary pre-inspection within 60 days of your lease-end date.

If you are unable to schedule an inspection online, please call 1-888-498-8801 (7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST, Monday—Friday and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST, Saturday)

Step 3: Inspection Results

After you inspection, you can see your results.

Step 4: Vehicle Repairs

If your vehicle needs any repairs, your Lincoln Retailer has expert techs and quality service along with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts to help ensure your vehicle is ready for return. Retain copies of all repair receipts to verify completed repairs when returning your lease vehicle.
