Will aftermarket modifications void my Lincoln Warranty?
The installation or use of any aftermarket product will not necessarily void the New Vehicle Limited Warranty (NVLW) or Lincoln Protect Extended Service Plan (ESP) coverage.
However, if the aftermarket product fails or causes a Lincoln part to fail, the cost of the repair and any related damage(s) are not covered by either the Lincoln NVLW or ESP coverage.
Lincoln does not recommend changes to our products. Modifications to your vehicle could result in it not meeting either Federal Emission Control Standards or any applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard.
Only changes that have been thoroughly tested and approved by Lincoln Engineering should be considered. In this case, part numbers will be issued, and parts will be made available for purchase through Lincoln's Retailers.
