What is the Lincoln warranty on tires?
Tire defects in factory-supplied material or workmanship issues and concerns are covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty (NVLW).
Important:
- You should expect tires to wear down over time, as tires are a wear-and-tear item.
- NVLW covers manufacturer's defects, not worn items.
- The vehicle must be within 4 years from the Warranty Start Date.
The NVLW covers tire defects in factory-supplied material or quality for 100% of labor costs and on a pro-rata adjustment basis for parts.
For vehicles within the NVLW time in service coverage period, defective tires will be replaced on a pro-rata adjustment basis according to the following mileage-based Reimbursement Schedule:
Miles Driven | Percentage Covered by Ford |
1-12,000 | 100% |
12,001-24,000 | 60% |
24,001-36,000 | 30% |
36,001-50,000 | 15% |
Note: The tire manufacturer may also provide you with a separate tire warranty that extends beyond the NVLW coverage. A copy of your Tire Warranty is provided in the glovebox at the time of purchase and is also available online with your Owner's Manual information.
