Why is my spare tire different from the other tires on my Lincoln vehicle?
Your vehicle may have a non-matching or dissimilar spare wheel and tire assembly. A dissimilar spare wheel and tire assembly is defined as a spare wheel and tire assembly that is different in brand, size, or appearance from the road tires and wheels.
If you have a spare wheel and tire, it is intended for temporary use only. If you need to use it, you should replace it as soon as possible with a tire that is the same size and type as the tires and wheels that Lincoln originally provided.
The Tire Finder can help you find the right replacement tire for your vehicle.
Notes:
- Additional information on dissimilar spare tires can be found in your Owner's Manual under the "Changing a Road Wheel" or "Changing Tires" section.
- Some vehicles are equipped with a tire sealant and inflator kit instead of a spare tire. To find the kit's location in your vehicle, refer to your Owner's Manual under the "Tire Sealant and Inflator Kit" or "Temporary Mobility Kit" section.
