How do I set up Personal Profiles in SYNC?

SYNC®* Personal Profiles save your vehicle settings for seats, a heads-up display, a steering wheel, power adjustable pedals, mirrors, climate control, navigation preferences, ambient lighting, etc. See below for instructions on creating a personal profile.

Use the SYNC screen to set up your profile. Each profile can be accessed by either:

  • Pressing an assigned Memory Seat button on the driver's door.
  • Using a key fob that can be optionally linked to a profile during creation.
  • Using the SYNC touchscreen to select a profile at start-up.

Personal Profiles are associated with your key fob, allowing the vehicle to react and welcome each driver to the vehicle automatically.

Important:

  • The vehicle must be parked and running in a safe, open location (free of overhead ceilings, branches, etc.).
  • This applies to vehicles with SYNC 3 and SYNC 4.
