How do I set up Personal Profiles in SYNC?
Personal Profiles are associated with a key fob, allowing the vehicle to react and welcome each driver to the vehicle automatically. They save your vehicle settings for seats, Head-Up Display**, steering wheel adjustment, power-adjustable pedals, mirrors, climate control, navigation preferences†, ambient lighting, etc. See below for instructions on using SYNC®* Settings to create a personal profile.
Setting Up Personal Profiles
Important:
- The vehicle must be parked and running in a safe, open location (free of overhead ceilings, branches, etc.).
- Personal Profiles are available for vehicles with SYNC®* 3 and SYNC 4, but not every vehicle model will have this feature, regardless of SYNC generation. Review your Owner's Manual to confirm you can set a personal profile.
If you need assistance identifying your vehicle's SYNC generation, select the dropdown below.
