How do I change the SYNC®* display settings?

Learn how to adjust the brightness, turn auto dim on, turn the SYNC screen off, and other display features on your SYNC screen.

  • Press Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  • Press Display:
    • Turn Auto Dim On or Off
    • Adjust the screen brightness
    • Change the screen mode to Auto, Day, or Night
    • Touch the Display Off bar to turn the screen off

SYNC with MyLincoln Touch®

  • Press Menu (gear icon) on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  • Select Settings.
  • Press Display:
    • Turn Auto Dim On or Off
    • Adjust the screen brightness
    • Change the screen mode to Auto, Day, Night, or Off

If you choose Off, the screen will go black. Touch your screen anywhere to turn the screen on. 

*Don’t drive while distracted. Use voice-operated systems when possible; don’t use handheld devices while driving. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.
