How do I enable the Connected Vehicle Oil Life Time and Distance Estimator?

You can enable the vehicle's Oil Life Time and Distance Estimator by following the instructions below.

If the vehicle is new to you, determine if it is equipped with Lincoln Connect®*. This information can be found on the vehicle’s original window sticker. If the window sticker is no longer available, contact your selling Lincoln Retailer for assistance.

If Lincoln Connect is enabled on your vehicle and the Lincoln Way app is set up on your smartphone, no additional setup is required.

In addition to installing the Lincoln Way app, you must be willing to share your vehicle’s Connected Vehicle Data with Lincoln. To access the Customer Connectivity Settings, follow these steps on the vehicle's SYNC®† 3 display screen:

  1. Select Settings from the Home screen.
  2. Select Lincoln Connect.

Once opened, the connectivity settings allow you to enable or disable multiple independent options, such as Vehicle Connectivity, Location, and Send Vehicle Data.

Agreeing to share data will allow the Connected Vehicle Data to be utilized by the cloud processing systems, enabling the Oil Life Time Distance Estimator.
