How do I enable the Connected Vehicle Oil Life Time and Distance Estimator?

If you already have Lincoln Connect®* enabled on your vehicle and the Lincoln Way®** App setup on your smartphone, no additional setup is required.

If the vehicle is new to you, determine if it is equipped with Lincoln Connect 4G Wi-Fi. This information can be found on the vehicle’s original window sticker, an example is shown below. The arrows indicate where the 4G connection functionality can be identified. If the window sticker is no longer available, contact your selling Lincoln Retailer for assistance.

  • If the vehicle supports Lincoln Connect, you will need to download and set up the Lincoln Way App on your smartphone.
  • Consult the Lincoln Way App website for additional information, and for links to download the App to your smartphone.

In addition to installing the Lincoln Way App, you must be willing to share your vehicle’s Connected Vehicle Data with Lincoln.

To access the Customer Connectivity Settings (CCS), follow these steps on the vehicle's SYNC®† 3 display screen:

  • From the Home screen, select Settings.
  • Select Lincoln Connect to access the vehicle's connectivity settings.

Once opened, the connectivity settings will allow the client to enable or disable multiple independent connectivity options, such as Vehicle Connectivity, Location, and Send Vehicle Data. Descriptions for these settings are shown below.

Agreeing to share data will allow the Connected Vehicle Data to be utilized by the cloud processing systems that will enable the Oil Life Time Distance Estimator.
