How do I adjust the Ambient Lighting in my Lincoln vehicle?
You can adjust your interior lighting using your SYNC®* system (if equipped) or with the buttons on your overhead console (vehicles without SYNC).
This feature allows you to personalize your vehicle interior. It turns on when the ignition and the headlamps are switched on, and, depending on your vehicle, it may illuminate:
- Cupholders.
- Door map pockets and release handles.
- Front and rear footwells.
- Console storage.
- Passenger-side instrument panel light bars.
- Media bins.

SYNC 4
To set the Ambient Lighting color and brightness using SYNC 4:
- Press Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
- Tap Vehicle Settings.
- Press Ambient Light.
- Select a color.
- Drag the slider left or right.
SYNC 3
To set the Ambient Lighting color and brightness using SYNC 3:
- Tap Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
- Tap Ambient Lighting.
- Select your desired color.
- Select your preferred intensity.
SYNC with MyLincoln Touch®
To set the Ambient Lighting color and brightness using SYNC with MyLincoln Touch:
- Select Settings on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
- Tap Vehicle.
- Select Ambient Lighting.
- Tap your desired color.
- Use the scroll bar to increase or decrease the intensity.
To turn the feature on or off, press the power button.
*Don't drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.
