Why is the Lincoln Way®* App not responding?
If you receive a message stating the Lincoln Way App has become unresponsive, please refer to the troubleshooting steps below.
Troubleshooting
App Updates
Check for Lincoln Way App updates on your mobile device. If you are unsure if your app is up-to-date, please search for Lincoln Way in your respective app store.
- If the update option appears, please update and try using the app again.
- If the app shows as up-to-date, please continue to the Connection Strength dropdown.
Connection Strength
- Wi-Fi connection:
- If Wi-Fi is turned off, turn Wi-Fi on and attempt to connect.
- If Wi-Fi is turned on, turn Wi-Fi off and attempt to connect using cellular data.
- Cellular connection:
- If cellular data is turned off, turn cellular data on and attempt to connect.
- If cellular data is turned on, turn cellular data off and attempt to connect using Wi-Fi.
Restarting
- Force close the Lincoln Way App.
- Android™** devices:
- Open your device Settings.
- Scroll down and select Apps (this is usually found in the Device section).
- Scroll down and tap Lincoln Way.
- Tap the Stop or Force stop option.
- Tap Force stop to confirm the action.
- iOS®*** devices without a Home button:
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen.
- Swipe left or right until you locate Lincoln Way.
- Swipe up on the Lincoln Way App.
- iOS devices with a Home button:
- Double-click the Home button.
- Swipe left or right until you locate Lincoln Way.
- Swipe up on the Lincoln Way App.
- Android™** devices:
- Log out of the Lincoln Way App and then back in.
- Power off your device for 30 - 60 seconds.
