Why is the Lincoln Way™* App draining my iPhone®** battery?

There is an issue with battery drainage on iPhones running iOS 14+ versions. The Lincoln Way app is affected by this issue after a device is connected to a vehicle via USB or Bluetooth®***.

We are working on the issue, but there are actions you can take to mitigate the impact:

  1. Force close the Lincoln Way app.
    • iOS devices without a Home button
      1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen.
      2. Swipe left or right until you locate Lincoln Way.
      3. Swipe up on the Lincoln Way app.
    • iOS devices with a Home button
      1. Double-click the Home button.
      2. Swipe left or right until you locate Lincoln Way.
      3. Swipe up on the Lincoln Way app.
  2. Restart your phone.

The issue may recur if you connect your phone to your vehicle again. If so, repeat the above steps.
