How do I use the Horn and Lights feature in the Lincoln Way App?

You can activate the lights and horn for five seconds, which is useful when searching for your vehicle in a parking garage. Use the steps below for more details.

Activating the Horn and Lights Feature

Select your Lincoln Way App experience from the dropdowns below to learn how to engage the Horn and Lights feature. 

Lincoln Way App 4.X Experience

  1. Log in to the Lincoln Way App.
  2. Go to the Home screen. 
  3. Locate your remote commands bar.
  4. Press and hold the Horn icon for five seconds.
  5. Select one of the following on the prompt:
    • Confirm to complete the action.
    • Cancel to void the action.

If you selected Confirm, the success banner should appear. The lights and horns will be active for five seconds.

Lincoln Way App 5.X Experience

  1. Log in to the Lincoln Way App.
  2. Go to the Vehicle screen. 
  3. Select Location
  4. Tap the Horn and Light button.

Your vehicle's horn and lights will be on for five seconds and then shut off.
