Why Do I Have to Request Authorization on My Connected Vehicle?

If you've attempted to authorize the remote commands feature, but received a pop-up confirming that your vehicle is already activated:

  1. Tap the Request Authorization tab if you will be an additional user.
  2. A message will be sent to all current activated users. 
  3. They will receive your request in their app message center.
  4. Once approved, you will be able to complete the authorization process. 

Note: If you want to activate a vehicle and remove all existing activated users, you can perform a modem reset
