How do I remove Lincoln Connect modem access for authorized users?
You can complete a Lincoln Connect®* reset on your vehicle's SYNC®** screen. For more information, refer to the steps below.
Important:
- This reset removes all Lincoln Connect accounts linked to your vehicle.
- To remove all previous owners, users, data, and in-vehicle settings, perform a Factory Reset. A Factory Reset also deletes your navigation favorites, SiriusXM presets, and makes all SYNC 4 subscriptions unavailable for up to 10 days.
Resetting the Lincoln Connect Modem
To complete a Lincoln Connect modem reset:
- Safely enter your vehicle.
- Ensure that your vehicle is on, running, parked, and in a well-ventilated, safe area.
- Tap Settings on your SYNC screen.
- Scroll down and select Reset.
- Scroll down and select Lincoln Connect Reset.
- Close and reopen the Lincoln Way®† App once the reset is complete.
You can now connect to your vehicle again for remote access.

How do I perform a SYNC master/factory reset?

Connected service and features depend on compatible AT&T network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features. Connected service excludes Wi-Fi® hotspot.
**Don't drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.
