What are Vehicle Health Alerts?
Vehicle Health Alerts* (VHA) uses data from your vehicle to provide you with updates on your vehicle's health. The Lincoln Way®** App collects vehicle diagnostic data and displays vehicle health notifications.
They will provide information about your:
- Powertrain.
- Brakes and suspensions.
- Restraints and driver assistance.
- Checks, fluids, and filters.
Each VHA will tell you:
- What the alert means.
- The level of severity.
- Actions or next steps required.
Note: Recalls and Customer Satisfaction Programs will also appear on the Lincoln Way App for non-connected vehicles.
Accessing the VHA Feature
Select one of the menu options below to learn how to enable and view VHAs in the Lincoln Way App.
Set Up VHA
If you meet all the requirements below, your VHA should run automatically.
- Your vehicle has an activated Lincoln Connect®** modem.
- Your vehicle's Connectivity Settings are enabled.
- Your vehicle is added to the Lincoln Way App.
- Your SYNC®† software is up-to-date.

View VHA in the Lincoln Way App
To see your VHA in the Lincoln Way App:
- Log in to the Lincoln Way App.
- Tap Service.
- Tap Vehicle Health Reports.
- If there is an active alert for your vehicle, you will see a warning icon indicating issues found.
- If your vehicle has more than one alert, you'll see an orange warning banner indicating multiple alerts.
- If there are no alerts, you will see the green check icon indicating no issues found.

*Vehicle Health Alerts require SYNC® 3 version 2.0 or higher and a data connection via a mobile device or Lincoln Connect. See SYNC interface, a retailer, or Lincoln Concierge for more information.

Connected service and features depend on compatible AT&T network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features. Connected service excludes Wi-Fi® hotspot.
†Don't drive while distracted or while using handheld devices. Use voice-operated systems when possible. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.
