How do I request a Recall Clearance Letter for my Lincoln?
As part of the export process, a foreign government may require a Recall Clearance Letter to confirm that the vehicle being imported is free of open safety, compliance, or emissions recalls. Drafted on Ford Motor Company stationery, the letter certifies that the vehicle does not have any open recalls.
To request a Recall Clearance Letter, contact Lincoln Concierge by clicking LIVE CHAT in the lower right corner on the Lincoln Owner website, or by calling 1-800-521-4140.
Notes:
- All open recalls must be performed by a Lincoln Retailer prior to publishing the letter. To check for recall on your vehicle, visit lincoln.com/support/recalls, and enter your VIN.
- If you are a Canadian resident or your vehicle was built for use in Canada, contact Lincoln Concierge (Canada) at 1-800-387-9333.
- If your vehicle was built for use in countries other than the U.S. and Canada, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website for a list of registered importers.
