A Certificate of Conformity is a document issued by the United States EPA to a vehicle manufacturer certifying that a vehicle class conforms to EPA requirements. Certificates are valid for only one model year of production.

If you are exporting a vehicle from the U.S. to another country, it may require certification data. A Certificate of Conformity and Certificate Summary Information (or summary sheet data) will contain the emission standards to which the motor vehicle was certified.
